This installation is a 360° infromation ring. The visitor is greeted with it upon entering the main hall. It gives an introduction on Southampton, glimpses of what to expect to see in the galleries and of what other cultural events are happening in the city.

 

Imagery covers one or two screens completely, and could incorporate simple movement, whether video or a pan across a still image, to create an exciting composition. 

Visually rich textures take over the screens at times and work as transitions.

Key facts are displayed using simple, clean typography. All the elements would constantly animate in a dynamic and interesting way complementing movement across all screens.
